Studio
One stem.
An entire universe.
Ichirin is the act of seeing a universe within a single stem.
Not one flower too many. Not one petal too few. Only the precise
weight of beauty — held in perfect tension between presence
and silence.
Ichirin Garden Studio was born from this conviction. Every
arrangement begins not with what to add, but with what to
remove — until only the essential remains.
We do not arrange flowers. We compose silence.
Based in Los Angeles, our work moves between Japanese sensibility
and Californian freedom — where discipline meets openness, and
restraint becomes expression. The result is not a style, but a
state: inevitable, unforced, and complete.
Our practice is rooted in the philosophy of ma — meaningful space.
Where others add, we consider. Where others fill, we leave room
to breathe. Each stem is chosen not only for its form, but for
the silence it shapes.
This philosophy guides every commission — from quiet arrangements
placed within private living spaces, to work unfolding within
environments where precision, discretion, and atmosphere are
deeply valued.
In Los Angeles, our work has quietly existed within culturally
defining spaces such as Nobu — where floral presence is not
decoration, but a quiet extension of identity.
Each piece is approached as a site-specific work — unrepeatable,
irreducible, and inseparable from the space it inhabits.
This is what we mean by Omakase. Not a menu. Not a selection.
A complete trust in what cannot be explained in advance — and
in return, something that could never have been asked for.
To bring meaning and stillness into your space — that is our
only purpose.
